Our team is performing Directed Energy research and development. That's why we need you, an electrical engineer with experience developing robust and user-friendly software and controls solutions to help us design and develop directed energy systems. You'll design, develop, specify, test, and evaluate software and controls system architectures, perform trade studies and analysis to predict performance and optimize design around requirements, define and conduct tests to validate performance of designs to requirements, and collaborate with users and engineers to develop viable and sustainable solutions that meet user needs. We'll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in software and controls development. You Have: -3+ years of experience with software design and programming -1+ years of experience with C# or other object-oriented programming languages -Experience in interfacing with external systems -Ability to apply systems analysis techniques, including consulting with engineers across disciplines to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications -Ability to design, develop, document, analyze, and test software -Ability to find the answers to difficult problems -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or EE Nice If You Have: -Experience with Microsoft Visual Studios or Unity -Experience with weapon system controls, especially electromagnetic weapons -Possession of excellent problem-solving skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
