**This will be a temporary, 4 month position. Program requires assistance in setting up automated testing for DDPS AWS migration** The work is guided by following Agile/SAFe framework best practices. The team is extremely collaborative. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is forward thinking, and excited about solving complex technical challenges every day. In addition to the candidate's primary automated test case development responsibilities, he/she should also have the skills required to participate as needed in all phases of development including planning, analysis, development, testing, integration and documentation. The current technical environment includes: Redshift Databricks Python Jenkins GIT Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) AWS Cloud Infrastructure The Test Engineer will perform the following responsibilities: Participate in an agile team, including all agile ceremonies, to deliver the full lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of software solutions. Promote, train and provide guidance on continuous testing/agile test strategies and incorporating those strategies in DevSecOps. Setup and develop unit tests (using pytest or unittest framework) for the python functions written by the program development team. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in computer science, softwareengineering, computer information systems, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training and work experience. QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in an Agile development environment. 5 or more years' experience testing/development in Python. 2 or more years' experience in pytest or unitest. Experience with Jenkins. Understanding of DevSecOps, DevSecOps experience a plus. Experience working in a highly collaborative agile environment.
