Join General Dynamic Information Technology's (GDIT's) Defense Division as a Systems Engineer for an exciting new contract. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems. Additionally, you will provide engineering support, test, administer, and troubleshoot IT system issues. Primary Responsibilities: Develop engineering assessments of different configurations, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules Coordinate with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction Make recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives Required Skills and Experience: BA/BS and 6 years of Systems Engineering experience CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment We are GDIT.
